WHAT:
Explore the engineering marvels and artistry of one of history’s greatest minds and inventors at the “LEONARDO DA VINCI: Inventor. Artist. Dreamer.” special exhibition at the California Science Center, newly extended until Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Through models of da Vinci’s innovations, hands-on experiences and digitally restored reproductions of his notes and artwork, including the Last Supper, visitors will experience da Vinci’s endless curiosity, and his use of both art and science throughout his work.
Enhance the experience by seeing the IMAX movie Cities of the Future 3D to discover the exciting innovations engineers are working on today, from electric flying cars to solar power beamed from space.

The California Science Center and IMAX Theater are located in historic Exposition Park, at the corner of Figueroa Street and 39th Street, west of the Harbor (110) Freeway, adjacent to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and across the street from the University of Southern California.
WHEN:
The California Science Center and IMAX Theater are open daily from 10am-5pm (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day).
TICKETING:
Timed tickets for the exhibition and IMAX movie are required and are on sale now.
All tickets can be purchased online at californiasciencecenter.org/davinci or by calling 213-744-2019 or by visiting the box office.
Exhibition tickets purchased in person at the box office start at $15.95 for children, up to $22.95 for adults. There is an online service fee of $4 per person.
Tickets for the IMAX movie Cities of the Future 3D purchased in person at the box office start at $7.59 for children, up to $9.79 for adults and online transactions are subject to a service fee of $4 per person.
Discounted combination tickets are available when purchasing both the exhibition and IMAX movie, and special discounts for Members, groups of 15 or more people and private events. Full details can be found on the website here.
The Box Office is open in person daily from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
