SAVE THE DATE! 25th Annual Discovery Ball on March 16, 2024
Join us for an amazing evening of celebration at the California Science Center on Saturday, March 16 inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci: Inventor. Artist. Dreamer. Guests of the 25 Annual Discovery Ball will be treated to a private viewing of this remarkable exhibition featuring 30 of da Vinci’s fantastic machines, each built in extraordinary detail according to his drawings, and two authentic pages from his 14 century notebook Codex Atlanticus.
Chaired by Steve Powell, President and CEO of Southern California Edison, the Discovery Ball is the California Science Center Foundation’s highly anticipated fundraising event. The black-tie gala has been described as “a virtual who’s who of the Los Angeles business community” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. It consistently places in the top 5 annually in the benefits category of the Top 100 Events in Southern California by BizBash Magazine and recently won Special Events Magazine’s 2020 Gala Award for Best Fundraising Event.
Proceeds from the Discovery Ball help sustain the educational exhibits, programs and operations that make the Science Center a world-class science learning resource and family destination, with free general admission that allows us to serve a diverse audience of children and families, as well as students and educators.
